About Agricultural Training College

About Sansar Green Agricultural Training College

Building Agricultural Knowledge, Practical Skills, Scientific Innovation & Rural Entrepreneurship

Learn with Science. Train with Practice. Grow with Innovation.

Introduction

The Sansar Green Agricultural Training College is an educational development initiative envisioned by Sansar Green Mission Private Limited, a DPIIT-recognised agritech startup established in 2020, to promote modern agricultural education, vocational skills, applied scientific learning and sustainable farming practices.

The proposed Training College aims to bridge the gap between theoretical agricultural education and practical field-level requirements by bringing together scientific knowledge, hands-on training, research exposure, emerging agricultural technologies and entrepreneurship development.

India’s agricultural sector requires a new generation of skilled farmers, agricultural professionals, technicians, researchers and entrepreneurs who can respond to changing farming practices, environmental challenges and evolving market opportunities.

At Sansar Green, we believe that agricultural education should extend beyond classrooms. Learners should understand soil, crops, microorganisms, plant propagation, agricultural inputs, technology, farm economics and environmental sustainability through practical experience.

Our training college vision is rooted in the philosophy of “मिट्टी से मंडी तक” — Soil to Market, connecting agricultural science with practical farming, rural livelihoods, entrepreneurship and market-oriented development.

The institution is being conceptualised as a multidisciplinary agricultural learning centre, with educational activities and infrastructure to be developed progressively according to available resources, technical expertise, institutional collaborations and applicable regulatory requirements.

Our Vision

To establish a recognised centre for agricultural education, practical training, technical skill development and applied innovation that prepares learners for sustainable farming, agricultural employment and entrepreneurship.

We envision a learning environment where scientific knowledge and practical experience come together to create capable agricultural professionals and informed farming communities.

Our Mission

Our mission is to make agricultural learning practical, accessible, scientifically informed and relevant to real agricultural challenges.

Our key objectives include:

  • Promoting quality agricultural education and skill development.
  • Connecting classroom learning with field-based practical experience.
  • Supporting farmer training and rural capacity building.
  • Developing specialised learning in soil health and crop nutrition.
  • Encouraging agricultural microbiology and biofertiliser education.
  • Promoting organic and natural farming practices.
  • Supporting plant biotechnology, tissue culture and nursery training.
  • Building horticultural and grafted plant propagation skills.
  • Introducing learners to digital agriculture and emerging technologies.
  • Encouraging agricultural entrepreneurship and agribusiness development.
  • Promoting environmental conservation and ecological restoration.
  • Strengthening collaboration with universities, research institutions and industry.

Why an Agricultural Training College?

Agriculture is undergoing significant changes driven by technology, scientific research, market demands, climate variability and environmental concerns.
