Training, Capacity Building & Knowledge Transfer
Turning Knowledge into Action, and Farmers into Leaders
At the Sansar Institute of Agricultural Research & Development (SIARD), we believe that scientific innovation only creates real impact when it reaches the hands of those who cultivate the land. That’s why training, capacity building, and knowledge transfer are at the core of our mission.
Our goal is to empower farmers, agri-entrepreneurs, rural youth, and students with the skills, confidence, and knowledge they need to adopt sustainable, organic, and climate-resilient agricultural practices — and to lead India’s transition to a greener, smarter farming future.
“Every farmer trained is a ripple of change. Through knowledge, we don’t just grow crops—we grow a better future.” – Rajeev Singh
Our Key Initiatives:
👨🌾 Farmer-Centric Training Programs
We deliver intensive, hands-on training in organic farming techniques, soil health management, bio-input application, composting, pest control, and sustainable crop planning, tailored to regional needs and crops.
🌿 Agri-Entrepreneurship & Rural Skill Development
We mentor and train aspiring agripreneurs and youth in modern agriculture enterprises such as vermicomposting units, organic input manufacturing, nursery management, and hydroponic/aeroponic farming, opening doors to green business opportunities.
📚 Field Demonstrations & Knowledge Sharing
Our live demonstration farms, on-site trials, and mobile agri-clinics help farmers learn by doing. We convert lab research into practical, field-tested methods that are scalable and cost-effective.
🧑🏫 Workshops, Certifications & Digital Learning
We offer short-term skill development courses and certifications in key areas like tissue culture, bio-fertilizer production, and natural pest management, with both physical and online learning modules for broader access.
🤝 Collaborative Outreach Programs
In partnership with universities, Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs), NGOs, and government bodies, we extend our training programs to farming communities across India, ensuring that sustainable agriculture is within everyone’s reach.
Our Vision:
To create a knowledgeable and empowered farming community that leads with innovation, farms with confidence, and grows with sustainability at its core.
“We aim to return the degraded system to some form of cover that is aesthetically pleasing, protective, productive, or valuable in the sense of conservation”. – Rajeev Singh
